Future Continuous ou Future Progressive - Futuro Contínuo ou Futuro Progressivo
O Future Progressive, basicamente, expressa ações que estarão ocorrendo em algum momento no futuro. Observe as formas e usos deste tempo verbal:
Forma afirmativa
Na forma afirmativa do Future Progressive utilizamos o futuro simples do verbo to be (will be) + o gerúndio do verbo principal:
He will be working in Madrid next year.
(Ele estará trabalhando em Madrid no ano que vem.)
Tomorrow, at this same time I will be leaving my job. (Amanhã, neste mesmo horário, estarei saindo do meu trabalho.)
Please, don't call me at nine, I'll be having dinner.
(Por favor, não me ligue às nove horas, estarei jantando.)
AFFIRMATIVE FORM: SUJEITO + FUTURO SIMPLES DO VERBO TO BE (WILL BE) + GERÚNDIO DO VERBO PRINCIPAL |
Forma negativa
A forma negativa do Future Progressive se faz acrescentando not entre o auxiliar modal will e o verbo to be:
* FORMA CONTRAÍDA: WILL + NOT = WON'T
When you arrive, I will not be waiting for your at the airport. (Quando você chegar eu não estarei lhe esperando no aeroporto.)
Robert won't be working next week; he will be on vacation. (Roberto não estará trabalhando na semana que vem, ele estará de férias.)
It is too early at eight pm, I won't be sleeping this time. (Oito horas da noite é muito cedo, não estarei dormindo a esta hora.)

Forma interrogativa
Na forma interrogativa do Future Progressive, o auxiliar modal will se posiciona antes do sujeito. Observe:
Will you be studying tomorrow night?
(Você estará estudando amanhã à noite?)
Will they be flying to Miami the same time our meeting? (Eles estarão indo para Miami na mesma hora da nossa reunião?)
Will Nicholas and Harold be playing tennis in the club on weekend? (Nicolas e Haroldo estarão jogando tênis no clube no final de semana?)
