1 - AFFIRMATIVE FORM:

There were beautiful girls at the club last night.

There was an Italian boy in my class last year.

There were three tigers at the zoo.

There was a party at school last Saturday night.

There were strange people at the bank this morning.

2 - NEGATIVE FORM:

Na forma negativa, basta acrescentarmos "not" após o verbo "to be". Lembre-se de que as formas negativas podem ser contraídas.

There was not = There wasn't

There were not = There weren't
